The AFS has announced the winners of the 2007 Millionaires Safety Award. This annual award recognizes facilities that reach million marks of consecutive man-hours worked without incurring an occupational injury or illness that results in days away from work or death. To be considered for the award, facilities must be AFS corporate members.

The 2007 winners from Texas and Louisiana are:

● Tyler Pipe Company, Tyler, Texas, 1 million man-hours

● Lufkin Industries, Inc., Lufkin, Texas, 1 million man-hours

● Americast Technologies, Inc., Amite, La., 1 million man-hours
