2006 AFS TEXAS Regional was held March 23 - 25 at the Doral Tesoro Hotel & Golf Club in Fort Worth, TEXAS         James Keffer is the National AFS President and was the keynote speaker for our lunch program at the AFS Texas regional. His speech emphasized the need for the American foundry industry to find individual niches and unique methods to set itself apart form foreign competitors. A continuing theme is value added such as machining. Jim emphasized the reality of the global market and our goal to make it a fair trade situation.
